Bali Trip September 2012, Day 3

We started the trip at noon. Had lunch at Ayam Bakar across Pecatu Indah Resort and wait for our friend to join us. We didn't visit Dreamland Beach - we got bored coming to Dreamland and it got more and more crowded everytime. So our first stop is Balangan Beach.

Balangan Beach is one of Bali's favorite beaches. Personally I like the beach, but never swim there. You can see more of foreigner than local tourist here. We spent only 15 minutes at Balangan Beach, took some pictures, then leave to the next beach.

We went to Tegalwangi Beach, which is my personal favorite spot in Bali. Unlike any other so-called secret beach, Tegalwangi doesn't have a stairway. You just got to get a grip on rocks besides you whilst going down the cliff to get to the beach. But once you're done with climbing down the cliff, it was worth it. If you're looking for a romantic beach, a getaway from the noisy Kuta, then it is the perfect beach. It is located near Pura Tegalwangi, just head to Jimbaran area.

We spent the rest of the afternoon there, just taking pictures and giggling the whole time.

Pantai Tegalwangi

Since there are no coast guard at Tegalwangi, we decided to go to Bluepoint Beach to catch the sunset. Heck, even Bluepoint now as crowded as Dreamland. But still I enjoyed swimming in the cold water. And yes, the sunset was beautiful as always :)
